Pet friendly for $$ which I'm ok with. Clean decent stop right off highway. One thing that needs addressing. Every door in the place and I mean EVERY.. hallway, bathroom, closet door slams because the latest update/remodel made them loose. Any door closes your awake. Management please buy a roll of simple weather stripping. Little foam tape goes a long way.
The property (inside & out) was just as nice as the online pictures, which is rare. Our room was on 2nd floor and very clean and the furnishings were very nice...especially the bed. We slept so good. The air conditioning kept us nice and comfy too. We really enjoyed the breakfast area right off the lobby. Nicely decorated & the food was good. Oh yes and the coffee hit the right spot. Parking area was nice & clean and well lite. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to the Staff who made it all even better.
This is a well kept and clean hotel. The bed was comfy and the room was quiet and away from traffic even though it is close to I75 and 90. My husband enjoyed the waffles and the coffee is good! We Did not like the tiny pillows that had seen better days along with the threadbare towels. Otherwise, it would have been a five! Staff was great and the check in and out procedures were efficient. We would stay again, but I’d bring my pillow.
This was a great place. Right off 75. Dog friendly and everything was very clean and the staff were so nice and helpful. They also have breakfast in the morning. The hotel is not fancy. But very clean and well kept. Will definitely stay here again while traveling. Also went their cute downtown area for dinner last night and ate at a great little dog friendly restaurant called Marion Street Bistro. Great food and service
Belie was professional, polite yet had a “Hometown “ attitude about her. She was patient and assisted me through working out our stay. She was accommodating and gave service with a smile and a warm kindness. She brought a great ending to an almost disastrous evening. Just as she assured me everything turned out great! Thank you Brylee so much for so much!
I don’t do this often But this Laquinta Inn in Lake City, Florida is the nicest one I’ve ever stayed in. I’ve stayed in a lot of them and they took my pet & didn’t charge an arm & leg. Im specifically leaving this review and a tip Because this Laquinta inn Has a system where you check out on your phone in the morning you let them know what time your checking out and they do not harass you or linger around your door making a lot of noise knocking on your door when even though you have a do not disturb sign like all other hotels do. That is my biggest pet peeve of hotels is pressuring you to get out before check out and they all do it except this one. I’m so pleased but this hotel is very clean. Modern new smells great. Staff is awesome. Food is good. They even had cheese grits! Thank you la Quinta Inn Lake City, Florida.
We were very pleased with this hotel! The employees were incredibly friendly and breakfast was delicious! The rooms were clean and well furnished. We traveled with our two small dogs and there were no issues at all. Also, very close to restaurants and there is a Walmart down the street.Would definitely stay here again!
Modern, updated, clean rooms with great shower and a comfortable king bed! Easy online check in and friendly staff at the front desk. The only downside is there are no hypo-allergenic rooms for people with pet allergies. Otherwise a solid 5!
